How to make an original bouquet of flowers from buttons with your own hands with a photo

Non-standard bouquets of sweets, from items of children's clothing, toys or other cute little things are becoming an alternative to bouquets of ordinary flowers that are familiar to everyone. A wonderful souvenir - a bouquet of buttons made by yourself - will be a great gift and interior decoration. You can make such a non-standard floristic composition from a variety of buttons stored in the house. In addition, this is an excellent lesson for the joint creativity of parents and children:

To make a bouquet of buttons you will need:

buttons of different colors, sizes and textures;
plastic container for a makeshift vase;
foam sponge;
wire;
pliers.

Getting to work

We form a flower from the buttons. We put smaller buttons on the larger button so that the holes of each of them coincide:

Pass the wire from the bottom through the holes in all three buttons, then bend it and put it into the holes from above. Gently wrap the wire under the lower button:

Measure the desired length of wire to form the stem. Cut off the excess part of the wire with pliers:

The lower part of the stems will be inserted into the stand.

Collect in this way the required number of flowers for your bouquet. You can use different lengths of wire to get a more voluminous or ball-shaped bouquet:

Stalks can be wrapped in colored paper, scotch tape, ribbons or other suitable materials.

You can use any container for a vase: ice cream, yogurt, juice bottles or baby food. In our case, we insert a sponge into a transparent plastic cup, after giving it the shape of a container. The sponge can be wrapped with bright wrapping paper, foil or cloth. Glue artificial moss or grass on top where our flowers will be inserted:

Inserting the stems into a vase, you can improvise with the shape of a bouquet. You can twist the individual stems into one or arrange them according to the method of artistic mess.
