Description of varietal violets with names and photos
Real violets, otherwise called Viols, grow mainly in the Northern Hemisphere. They can often be found in mountains and temperate regions, the highest concentration of violets in North America, the Andes and Japan. Violas have single asymmetric flowers with five simple petals, the lower of which has a spur.
Speaking of violets, many amateur gardeners have in mind the Saintpaulia violet, Saintpaulia. This flower belongs to a completely different species and is similar to viola only in the form of leaves and a little flowers.

The shape of the leaf plates of senpolia is:

- Classic. Asymmetric flowers are non-double, the petals are solid.
- Finger-type. Light oval and round spot in the center of the petal.
- Bordered. A contrasting border appears in a cool room.
- Fantasy. On the main tone of the petals there are various impregnations of a different color.
- Reverse Fantasy. White strokes, spots and another pattern on a colored background.
- Chimera. From the center of the flower to the edges are rays of various colors. In the center of the petal is a contrast strip.
